The Horizon-2020 ESFR-SMART project (European Sodium Fast Reactor Safety Measures Assessment and Research Tools) was officially launched during a kickoff meeting at the European Commission premises in Brussels on 11-12 September 2017. During two days, the consortium came together to reviews all of the work to be carried out during the 48 months of the project duration and initiated the first steps to a successful start.
